In its foundational charter, Mureda is characterized by its absolute respect towards all the aspects concerning the environment and its subsequent contribution to the sustainability.

From its origin, Mureda is in permanent fight against the emission of greenhouse gases, and contributes since then to the reduction of the carbon footprint.

In our lands, the plague control (green mosquito, red spider,…) is fought with ozone, totally harmless for the environment.

From the winery, Mureda has invested in the latest technology for its sustainable organic production.

To mention some examples,  the development of a net of photovoltaic plaques; Mureda has also implemented a system of rain waters collection as well lately treated in a water purification plant. Additionally, Mureda has a biomass heating system (obtained by means of the crushing of the olive pit) which includes an exclusive latest generation separator of particles to reduce the emissions of carbon dioxide (CO2) to the atmosphere (reduction of the carbon footprint).

Even our auxiliary materials are contributing to the sustainability of our project: light bottles (420g), or the labeling and the cartoning both certified by the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council).
