The warm location of the lands protects the area from the hot and humid Mediterranean winds which give a continental climate to the area with cold winters and hot summers with cool nights. The rains are very scarce, taking place in spring and autumn. Everything favours the stress of the vineyard in the final stage of ripening of the grape achieving thus, wines of great quality.
La Mancha is a region with a vast experience in the grapes growing. Geologically, it is located over a plain surrounded by hills and grounds of limestone compositions, original from the Miocene with a subsoil of carbonate-calcium which is characterized by an extraordinary capacity to retain water.
The vineyards are located in approximately 700 meters above sea level.
